I’m originally from Westfield, New York but relocated to North Carolina in 1978 and as I love to say, ‘I bloomed where I was planted”. My husband and I raised our two now grown sons here and enjoyed the great quality of the Johnston County schools and was proud to serve as PTA President and Soccer Coach.
Before moving to the Triangle area, I attended and graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC with a degree in Earth Studies. I’m a self-motivated individual who loves meeting and working with people so after earlier careers in business, in 1999 I realized that Real Estate would be the perfect career for me.
I work with Buyers and Sellers from low income to million dollar luxury properties and I operate consistently by honoring the Golden Rule – always treating everyone how I would want and expect to be treated. I’m a very direct communicator and not afraid to share with my clients what could be considered bad news. I understand the stress of buying and/or selling a home but I believe that honest and direct communication will always make even stressful situations easier to manage. My educational background in Earth Studies focused on Sustainable Living and Energy so I’m proud to be a Green REALTOR as well as an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR). I'm also very proud to have been named REALTOR of the Year in 2013 by the Johnston County Assocation of REALTORS.
In my spare time, I enjoy antiquing (hunting for the perfect finds is similar to assisting my buyers in finding their perfect home), cooking, reading and spending time with friends. I love the diversity of culture and landscape in this area as well as the close proximity to cool amenities like museums, walking/hiking trails, historical sites and more.
